Maartje Zonderland's Homepage



Since January 2008 I am a PhD student in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente (Chair Stochastic Operations Research). Additionally, I am a consultant at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), which is one of the eight university medical centers in the Netherlands. The aim of my research is to develop sophisticated mathematical models for the complex problems that I encounter at the LUMC. Implementing the solutions is a major part of both my research and my work at the hospital.

I will defend my PhD thesis at Friday January 27 2012, 2:45PM.
