SUM OF SIN(.) SIGNALS

Suppose we would like to compute the following sum of periodic signals:

F(t) = SUM(k=1,N) {fk(t)} =  SUM(k=1,N) {Ak*sin(wkt)}

where N is the number of signals, Ak is the amplitude of the k-th component and wk is the frequency of the k-th component defined as wk = 2*pi*k/N.

The following applet computes the sum and You can choose the amplitude of the components by just clicking-and-dragging one point in the upper half of the frame. The corresponding F(t) will immidiately appear in the lower half of the frame.

Experience with different frequency and sign of the components.
