CTW 2013

17th Cologne-Twente Workshop on Graphs & Combinatorial Optimization
University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands
May 21-23, 2013.

Welcome to the webpage of the 17th Colone-Twente Workshop!

The Cologne-Twente Workshop on Graphs and Combinatorial Optimization (CTW) is an annual workshop that took place in Germany (2001, 2005, 2006, 2010), the Netherlands (2003, 2007), Italy (2004, 2008, 2011), and France (2010). In 2013, the 12th CTW will be held in Enschede, the Netherlands.

CTW 2013 welcomes contributions on theory and applications of discrete algorithms, graphs and combinatorial structures and especially Operations Research in the wide sense. Following a well established tradition, the workhop aims to disseminate scientific results, especially by young researchers, in a friendly and interactive atmosphere. A special issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics (DAM) will be devoted to CTW 2013, containing full-length versions of selected presentations given at the workshop and possibly other contributions related to the workshop topics.

Please see the Call for Papers for dates, deadlines, and information how to submit.

Call for Papers: Special Issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics

Special Issue of

 Discrete Applied Mathematics

for the 12th Cologne-Twente Workshop on Graphs and Combinatorial Optimization (CTW 2013)

Deadline: September 30, 2013

Following the tradition of previous CTWs, a special issue of Discrete Applied Mathematics will be devoted to the 12th Cologne-Twente Workshop on Graphs and Combinatorial Optimization (CTW 2013, http://www.math.utwente.nl/~ctw/), held on May 21-23, 2013 at the University of Twente, Enschede, Netherlands.

All interested researchers are invited to contribute to this special volume. The topics should relate to the themes of the workshop (graph theory, combinatorial optimization and the design and analysis of algorithms). Submissions of contributions not presented at the workshop are also welcome.

All articles will be thoroughly refereed according to the high standards of Discrete Applied Mathematics.

The full papers must be submitted through the Elsevier Editorial System (http://ees.elsevier.com/dam). When submitting your paper, make sure that you specify that the paper is a submission to the special issue of CTW 2013.

Looking forward to your contribution,

The guest editors, Johann Hurink & Bodo Manthey
