A short scientific CV

I am an Assistant Professor of the Applied Mathematics Department of the University of Twente, working at the chair MaCS (Mathematics of Computational Science) headed by Prof. Jaap van der Vegt.

Since January 2001 till August 2001 I was a postdoc in the group "Numerical Plasma Dynamics" headed by Prof. Rony Keppens and Prof. Hans Goedbloed at the FOM Institute for Plasma Physics.

Since June 1998 till January 2001 I worked as a postdoc in the NWO project "Advanced Numerical Simulation for Photochemical Dispersion Models"; I worked in the group of Prof. Jan Verwer, CWI.

Since June 1996 till June 1998 I was a postdoc for the NWO project "Massively Parallel Programming, Computational Magneto-Fluid Dynamics", working within the group of Prof. Henk van der Vorst, the Numerical Analysis and Computational Science group at the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Utrecht University.

Before this, after finishing my PhD (December 1995) under supervision of Prof. Igor A. Nicolayev and Prof. Lev A. Krukier, I was Research Fellow at the Computer Center and part-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics and Computational Experiment, Rostov State University.
